Description:

Shiro, meaning castle in Japanese, has been conceptualized to set off the mind in many ways - with its interiors, its food and drink. It has a sensuous feel and has been built to represent an Asian Castle , complete with water flows, low seating, niched spaces and mellow lighting. Located on the beach... the view is to die for.

The sunset view from the deck is the main focus of the venue. Not to discount the elegant fine dining area and the spacious lounge. Shiro, has a mysterious spa like aura as you enter. Its double heightened ceiling provides openness and a feeling of lofty magnificence. Dominating the central space of the restaurant, are three 16ft high figures of consorts dropping water into a moat.

Shiro's menu includes a range of Japanese food (sushi, sashimi, yakitori), a wide range of dim sums (prawn and asparagus dumpling, mushroom dumpling, lobster with laksa sauce), and other Korean and Thai specialty dishes to name just a few, and also boasts of over twenty vegetarian dishes.

And as one walks through the different area, each offering a unique experience of oriental mystique in a very contemporary style, one feels enveloped in a Castle of Cool.
