Verna

Verna is a small village which falls between Panjim, Margao and Vasco. It is at a 10 minutes drive from Margao. Goa's biggest industrial estate is in Verna. It hosts some of the big companies like Siemens, IFB, Coca Cola, etc. It is spread over more then 1000 acres of land. Other prominent look out is the church of Verna built by the Portuguese, which is more then 300 years old. Close from the village is the Verna lake, locaaly known as Ambulor Lake. It is 5 minutes drive from the village. If you are a adventurous type and love to try your hand at F1, there is a Go Carting track which promisees you with lot of fun and adventure.
