Siridao

Situated on the river banks of Zuari, this little yet beautiful village is yet not affected by the annoying tourist. It is a right place if one is in search for solitude.
At the entrance of the Siridao village in Goa one can see three stone carved statues playing Musical instruments with a dog. Here is preserved the testimony of a huge man like creature who once inhabited the place and who was locally nicknamed ‘Paulist’.
One can also see the chapel of the Holy Souls here that was built in 1973. This was designed by Lucio Miranda a well known architect and for its long life the chapel is sanctified by the faithfuls with ten lakh Hail Marys.
