Surrounded be the fort of Aguada, this beach is an extremely picturesque beaches of Goa. The crowd is mostly up-class because of the Taj properties claiming most part of fort remains.
Where to eat
There are no food joints around the beach, mostly to keep the beach clean. However, there are good restaurants in and around Taj property.
How to reach
Sinquerim ia around 34 KM from the airport. The closest railway station is Thivim which is around 20 km. There are quite a number of buses plying from Panjim, Mapusa, and Calangute. Maximum fair could come to about Rs.10. There are taxis available from various points to reach here. Scooters are also available for rent from Panjim, Mapusa and Calangute
Things to do
- if you have your own transport take a ride, if not you can walk to the Fort Aguada and light house. The road to the Fort is scenice with river flowing along the road.The view from the top is facinating
- If you are a adventure freak, can try water sports. Be care ful with the equipments and trainers. The cost could be anything from Rs.750 to Rs. 1500.
- You can even venture to go for Dolphin trip organised by the locals
