Overview

The temple architecture of Goa is the blend of the local building traditions into a rigid architectural style . It gives it a special flavour. One of the Goan Temples is the Lamp Tower or the deepma (deepa stamba) arising anywhere from two to six stories high. This is believed to be the influence of the Maratha.
