Quepem is a taluk headquarters town situated in South Goa District of Goa. The town is bounded in the east by Tilamola (2 km), in south by Sirvoi (2.5 km), in the west by Paroda (3 km).
The major tourist places are the Quepem Dam and the sacred grove of Morpila. Kiran Mahotsasv is a religious, night long, music festival conducted here in September.
Shri Chandranath Temple at Paroda is a nearby excursion. Sulcorna is 12 km south-east of Quepem. Nearest airport is Goa Airport. Madgaon Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
