A walk along the Querim beach and its beautiful surroundings would bring one to the tree-lined beach named Kalacha. The Kalacha beach, sprinkled with silver and golden powder sand, is lined with palm and coconut trees all along the coast. The beach is blessed with a fresh water lagoon, which is near the shore at the very end of the beach. The credit of the discovery of this beach and blue lagoon goes to the Hippies who came here in hordes and settled for along down time. The beach is lined with a few bars, shacks and eateries
