Long stretches of silver sand, as far as one can see, disturbed only by a few huts and shacks which cater for some amazing Goan as well as continental food - this is the of Ashwem beach located south to Arambol. The long coastline of Ashwem is replete with palm groves which provide a green canopy all along the shore. The water is safe for swimming and being less crowded Ashwem beach comes across as a place for the entire family. Various huts and even tree houses can be seen near the beach which are utilized as accommodation by many tourists
