The Bhagwan Mahaveer Bal Vihar is located at Campal in North Goa. It was earlier known as the Children's Park and has recently been refurbished. One can see a statue of Bhagwan Mahaveer at the centre of the park. A number of functions and events are held at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Bal Vihar for kids such as independence day celebrations, shows of children’s films during the International Film Festival of India and many more. The birth anniversary of Bhagwan Mahaveer is also celebrated here with many people offering floral tributes to the statue. The Bhagwan Mahaveer Bal Vihar or the Children's Park has simple equipment for the Entertainment of children. One will find a number of swings and slides in the area which also serves as a playground for kids. Near the park one can also visit the famous Kala Academy that is located nearby on the DB Bandodkar Road.
