This tiny temple is a gem located in a remote jungle clearing not far from the Goa border. Dedicated to Shiva it was built in the 12th century and is the lone survivor of the Muslim / Portuguese campaign which destroyed all other Hindu temples in Goa. No one seems to know why this spot was chosen but undoubtedly its incredibily isolated location is responsible for its survivial. This feels like Indiana Jones territory!
