Molem

Molem is a small village on National Highway 4 near the Goa - Karnataka border towards Belgaum. It is situated at the foothills of the Sahyadri Mountain range at the beginning of Anmod Ghat. It is the primary entry point for Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Molem National Park.

Where to Eat:

Since Molem serves as a Exit and entry point out of goa, all trucks and buses are stoped for regular checkup. As a result there are lot of small but cozy restaurants. You can find shops which sell snacks as well as seasonal fruit shops along the road.

How to Get there:

Molem is about 30 KM from Ponda by road. There are lot of buses from Ponda which go towards Belgaum. You can catch any of these buses to reach Molem. It is advisable to have your own transport, as from Molem there is no good commute for reaching near by places.
