A vast stretch lies to the northern direction of the famous Colva beach, where the wanderers from Colva beach discover that the endless strip of white sand just keeps getting better and cleaner as they move away from the more famous cousin. The Betalbatim beach stretches till the horizon and is practically deserted save for the intermittent hutments and shacks which cater for the logistic needs and a few fishermen hutments which are deserted during daytime. The beach is clean and beautiful and is surrounded by greenery from the land side wherein mango as well palm grove provides an assuring roof over the top
