Overview
Goa has an amazing charm to it not only due to the vast ocean in the vicinity but also due to the criss-crossing of rivers through it. The Sal River is one such river which crosses Goa and meets the Arabian Sea near Betul. The village, largely occupied by fishermen is situated on the banks of the river and boasts of long stretch of beaches starting from the Mormugao peninsula. The cool ocean breeze ensures a pleasant climate throughout the year for this fruit tree roofed beach of Betul. The amazing Mobor Peninsula provides a breathtaking aerial view of the Betul hillock and the adjoining beach
